So I'm now polishing my car with the Wolfgang twins, well...I'm only on the TSR 3.0. I did a test spot, first using a LC CCS orange pad. It finished well but it took for-ev-ver to break the polish down. On the opposite side of the tape line, I used a tangerine LC Hydro pad. OH MAN!!! this is a winning combination! Now I only wish I had crimson hydro pads! HHHMMMM...maybe I can trade my 6" MF discs for some...that is if someone wants to trade ;-) Hope ya'll are having a great weekend! I'll post pics when I'm done!

Great to hear! LMK how it goes and maybe I'll give your combo a try instead of UC.

The LC hydro tangerine pads are some of my favorite pads lake country makes.

Can't wait to see the results.:xyxthumbs:

Chris...I'll be sure to take pics. I'm about to pull the car out of the garage now to check my work. I'll take before pics of the spots I didn't polish yet and after.

Man...I had these sitting in my bin for awhile now. I bought them when I got the Poli Seal...wasn't that impressed with that combo. I will give it another chance though.

I take it you are now sold on the difference btw flat pads and ccs when it comes to DAT polishes?

ABSOLUTELY! BUT as I love these pads, I can tell these things don't last long and they gum up real easily. I find myself having to clean the pads after every other section, and I'm being careful not to over saturate the pad with product. I would also feel the pad to see how much product is covering it. Using pads has reaffirmed my love for a foam pad versus the Meg's MF pads.

I will Flash...I couldn't get any decent before pics as the camera I was using isn't that great. I didn't have alot deep swirls but I did have marring from the clay. I'm no where near done. Hopefully I'll be done next weekend. I need to do the front bumper, rear bumper, and left side of the vehicle for the TSW. Then I'll have to apply the finishing glaze and then the wax.

Cool to hear. I ended up ordering a set of LC flat pads after all the issues I had with CCS on my car a couple months ago and realizing the CCS pads were sabotaging me. Haven't had a chance to use the new pads yet but I assume they'll behave similarly.

I ordered some Gray CCS pads but I may see if I can exchange them for some HT pads. I absolutely love these pads. I don't know if I need a different backing plate, but one thing I'm seeing is that the pads are starting to collapse in the middle.
