I have only used their polishes. I like 3M extra cut and 3M ultrafine... but that is about it. Oh, and I have their backing plate to my rotary thanks to Dana for rec. me it! EDIT- And I have used their compounding, polishing, and finesse pads. All get the job done

I do this all the time... and I always reuse sprayers. Just use some alcohol and Dawn Dish soap/Power Dissolver and let sit with warm water for 30 min or so and rinse again with hot water.

I use DP too since it takes literally a drip or two to do one whole tire

They must be pretty deep then... My only rec. is to start with 600 grit and work your way up from there then.... even though that sound a bit too aggressive..

Your right. Although people may want this for "production cars," it would not be a safe idea for your own or vehicles that mean a lot since there WILL BE contaminants stuck into the pores of the clay. Like I said, for production cars... it is not entirely a bad idea.

Try blotting and see for yourself. Although, there are certain stains you should blot like ink removal and what not. You only should blot in homes because the carpet in homes tend to have their fibers stressed very easily if you scrub, while on the other hand.... the carpet in auto is scrub...
