Thanks guys for the lesson. Would you recommend any videos for someone starting out with a rotary?

So would you follow the work with a da after?

I was just curious on why you would want to use a rotary over a da? I know da's are safe on the paint and usually wont hurt it so why would someone want to use the rotary? I'm not asking to be offensive I am asking because I simply don't know the difference.

I think you need a few more before and after pictures. Put them on the main page so they arent linked maybe. Also I see that you have two cars at the top. It feels like they need to be bigger or you may need to add two more cars so that you have four at the top to compensate for the space...

I'm not a pro by any means but I like the mytee lite II for carpet cleaning. I just got mine and used it last night. I can tell you the water gets very hot. For new car scent I use chemical guys new car scent. It smells pretty close to what a new car smells like to me. I forget the tire gel...

I watched a video with Mike and he was demonstrating how to clean and polish them. If I am not mistaken he said that you would not want to do this? I think the stuff he was using had a protectant in with it as well as the cleaner also.

105 is the stuff i use currently so tomorrow i'm going to try and take it back

Tonight I went to an auto shop they have here in phoenix and planned on picking up some meguiars 105 cutting compound and the guy there showed me the 3M stuff. He let me feel how abrasive it was and it felt quite abrasive. I went ahead and bought that but now im thinking maybe its too...

you really need to explain on what you are sanding. If just going by what you posted i would say go with a 3" because it can get into smaller areas however it will take longer to do bigger areas. I only have experience with headlights so the best grit for me is 1000 OR 1500 followed by a 3000
