    iron x question

Yup, I agree. I sprayed it on my wheels and the stuff that did get on the weights ended up turning green. A quick wipe/scrub with APC will remove that with little effort.

Comments on Paint Cleaners and Fine Polishes

Nice article, currently I am using LC White CCS Polishing Pad with SF4000. Do you guys think this is a little too aggressive for just a "maintenance"(for a lack of a better word) polish or should I start using 4500 instead?

Washing your car with hot water

If anything, I think warm water actually helps in the process of breaking down/loosening dirt and grime.

I have never personally done it but I will assume a heat gun will be involved to heat up the adhesive then peel off carefully.

What is the longest lasting, 'natural looking' tire gel

I would have to recommend AMMO Mud. Even after a good tire scrub during a wash, you can tell the gel is still on there. I usually don't have to reapply until after 2 washes or so. So about once a month I reapply.

    Headlight Restoration Using DP All-In-One

Opti-Lens would be a more permanent solution and your best bet for your headlights after restoration.

When to wash during a full correction

I think for the people, including me, that does a wash after correction is to remove any dusting that may have collected between panel gaps and to remove polishing oils at the same time.

How to restore exterior black plastic trim

If you want a more longer lasting solution, I highly recommend CarPro DLux. It is a good coating for plastic trim.

    question on product mixture ratio

I've seen bottles have different labeling locations. Some bottles you add chemical first then water and some bottles are the opposite. For example: Meguair's bottles label 10:1 on the very top of the bottle so you add 10 parts water FIRST up to the line then add solution until it fills up to...

headlight challenge #2 not as good :(

I have the same exact problem on our Lexus. Driver side came out great, but passenger side still kind of foggy. I went over the steps more than once to get the results but never got it. Driver side Passenger side Either I have to get a new set or just live with it and decided to just...

    Leather cleaner and conditioner

So far I have only got to try WG Leather Conditioner and I like it a lot. It wipes away with a matte natural look. I smells funky when applying but let the smell dwell in your car for a while or bake it in the sun and it becomes that new leather smell again.
