I have both the 7424XP and new Griot's. I prefer the Griot's as it has a lot more power and is smoother in my experience.

I'm surprised Collinite is difficult for you in those temps. I'd be careful with Klasse SG on a large, light colored boat. It must be applied thin and that can be difficult on a light colored gelcoat. I'm assuming by large boat we're talking 40'ish and light colored gelcoat. Anyways Klasse...

Topped it with some Pinnacle Liquid Souveran last Sunday that I got as a sample from AG. Looks nice, hard to say if it is any better than Collinite. It was a lot sunnier than when I took previous pics, but there appears to be more of a glow. Overall I can't say there is a definite difference...

I'm also on the fence with 85. I won't go through enough to justify 32oz. I only bought 32oz of M105 and 205, because there wasn't a 16 oz size.

Get the Griot's DA. I have both the Griot's and 7424XP and the Griot's is much more powerful. If you can afford to wait, you can eventually buy most Autogeek housebrands on BOGO. I like the DP xtreme foam both with a foam gun and as a bucket wash. The Klasse AIO is a great prewax/presealer...

I can tell everyone not to buy the Spray Pro at Lowe's. I've had a couple break on less than a bottle of use. Glad to hear the ZEP's are better.

Thanks! Her friend's silver Fit is most definitely clear coat. It's also very soft. As always, you'll want to start with the most gentle polish first. I'd be surprised if you ever needed to use 105 on it to remove defects unless they were very deep. There are a couple posts about soft clear...

I use this: Rubber Pet Brush along with a shop vac.
