I still have a KAIO (old formula) bottle that's about 1/4 full that must be 7 years old.

#26 paste will take me a decade to go through

Conflicted with waste and wanting to try new stuff :)

I have a few decade old products in the garage. I recently tossed as few others as I found better or they separated and wouldn't rehomogenize.

AG's sample offer is great way to try new products. Give the WG DGPS sealant a shot. I like it better than #26 and the sample bottle will give you several car treatments. Then again, if you like #26, you have already have a great wax and don't NEED to keep looking. BUT looking is half the fun.

The old KAIO seems to perform as well as usual. I did get rid of some older waxes and stuff I tried while jumping on the band wagon of old fads.

Thanks for the sample bottle tip ... might give that a shot.

My pleasure.

This is exactly why I love what Dodo does. 30ml pots of wax. I wish all companies would sell wax in these sizes, and polishes in 8oz bottles. I could try so many more things that way.

that's the thing with paste waxes, one tin will last for years and i find it funny when some buy so many of the same one (two is pushing it)...

I'd like to try Menzerna PO85, but I'm not going to buy 32 oz of the stuff, 85% of which I won't need assuming I only use a few ounces 2x a year at the most. Grrrrrr....

I agree.....I actually would like to see more offerings in the 3oz version like fuzion....to me that is ideal and a little bit easier to work with!

agreed, the 30ml pots are too small and a bit pricey as well...

3oz would be great as well. You could still get quite a few cars out of that. I look at it like this, I would much rather have 4 small tubs of wax to choose from, then 1 large tub. Us hobbyists simply do not go through that much wax and polish. I have some stuff for years that simply will probably never get used again. If they were smaller containers, that would not bother me as much. I LOVE trying different products. To me that is half the fun in detailing. To see what each product is going to do, and how each is going to look. To me it is like Christmas everytime I get to try something new.

I'm also on the fence with 85. I won't go through enough to justify 32oz. I only bought 32oz of M105 and 205, because there wasn't a 16 oz size.

I agree on the smaller containers.

I still have my original botte of nxt 1.0. Its just finally almost empty. Ive had it for 4 years.

I have enough car wash to probably last me probably close to 5-8 years. A big jug of ice wash (1 gallon). 64oz gallon of armorall wash. And another 16oz bottle of armorall wash.

It took me about 2 years washing my car every week or two to finish a 64oz bottle of eagle one wash. And at one point I started using excess amounts just so I could finish that dang bottle. Was tired of looking at it.

I recently threw away all my armorall dash protectants. Was never going to use them again. Had like 3 bottles.

Definitely go over to the sample thread:

You can get rid of some of the products you no longer use and pick up some new ones that you've been trying to get. I bought a bunch of 3oz bottles at target and shipped out a few samples. I am currently getting rid of some products that I don't use anymore or just have too much of in order to get some stuff that i've been dying to try. It is fun too!! You never know what you might find!

Sample thread is a good idea. I will check that out.

I just noticed that Optimum has the 3 pack of 8oz bottles. So far I have liked all the Opti products I have tried. Might have to get the polish line up in the 8oz bottle.
