    porter cable or griots garage

I have had my PC 6 years and 0 down time. I'm not a huge fan of buying something in the first year of production, alot of the original "Ultimate Detailing Machine" buyers learned that the hard way, everybody jumped to it cuz it had more power than the PC, well guess what, its durability was...

Light Color Pain / Wax Or Sealant

Silver can be hard to make pop, so I like giving silver as much glossy bling as I can. Stuff Ive used on silver that I like: Fk1000p, Zaino Z2Pro, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, BF Wet Diamond. If anything, sealants will add gloss to the paint.

Light Color Pain / Wax Or Sealant

I prefer synthetic sealants on light colors/silver.

Applying LSP - DA or by hand?

I prefer the DA to apply waxes or sealants. Get on some soft paint and you can marr it all up with the pressure from your hand. I can get super thin and even coats with the DA, I can't do as well with my hand. I don't waste product at all with the DA, if anything I use less.

    need help deciding which package...

PS: You don't need yellow cutting pads, nor 2 microfiber bonnets, nor the lambswool, the conditioner or the pad cleaner. Save yourself some money and get what you will use: 2-3 orange pads, 2-3 white pads and 1 red to apply waxes/sealants and thats it.

    need help deciding which package...

Thats a nice kit, however I'm not a fan of 6.5 pads for the PC, I would go 5.5.

    Decent 'Final Glaze' ?

Im sure you will like Blackhole, very good stuff and Im pretty sure its not an oil based glaze, should have no issues with KSG on it at all.. Very very similar to Chem Guys EZ Creme and Danase wet glaze. Rocket just get a little antsy when people mention glazes, kinda like a fart in church.

LSP: Tried many - I just don't see a difference!!!

So you are saying because the wax is red it makes it pop more and show the metallic? Can't say I've heard that analogy before.

Glaze or Polish, which is correct?

A glaze is a polish, it just doesn't have any cutting/cleaning properties. (generally speaking).
