I take my used wool pads and use them as wash mitts. They do a phenomenal job agitating any contaminants on the clearcoat. 👻

Keeping hands warm this winter while detailing

Let me just add, I just recently spent six hours cleaning out my garage and although it's only 9' x 18' it actually fit my 06' Mazda6. Lots of sidestepping and banging of elbows and head on shelving and walls. When I think about it that's not the biggest problem… My name issue would be lighting...

Keeping hands warm this winter while detailing

I live in New Jersey in with for the past week it has been under 10° at best. In Hackensack there is a spotless tunnel that does the waterjet thing and I figured it would get dry on the way out being that they have 2 10 hp Baldor motors blowing air at the cars for 60 seconds.this really didn't...

    Dealership Detailer hourly rate??

And don't be fooled by guys who run limousine companies and put out ads for car detailers. When you get there they want you to produce the conveyor belt affect...I actually heard a few times "you didn't have to make it that clean.""It's only an airport run"but when I look back in retrospect it...

What is the BEST Finishing/Jeweling polish to use AFTER Meguiars 205 with a Flex or PC for that extra gloss?

I do however recommend that you take great caution, in fact if you haven't seen someone do it first hand in front of you?? I wouldn't do this. I happen to have an extensive background in woodworking and surface removal...not to mention I've deliberately ruined a couple of scrap yard bumpers just...

What is the BEST Finishing/Jeweling polish to use AFTER Meguiars 205 with a Flex or PC for that extra gloss?

Sorry but I just have to clear something up… "Jeweling " ...allow me to correct you… What you really want to do is something called "burnishing" the paint. This can be done by revving up your Polisher somewhere around 2000 2300 RPM and slowly staying in straight line down the panel (light...

What is the BEST Finishing/Jeweling polish to use AFTER Meguiars 205 with a Flex or PC for that extra gloss?

I had to get rid of some holograms..3M Ultrafine to the rescue... Easy. Ok but, just how fast can I get the polisher going with this amazing product? I was cruising at 2500 RPMs and stood there in off of just how good 3M made the stuff.. I mean?? it has an open worktime that's unsurpassed. I...

stick with fk 1000p or pick up Powerlock?

Forget about that extra step. It's completely unnecessary. And believe me I love my 845....Trust me when I say go with power lock and leave it. This is the best sealant on the market. And I based that opinion on ease-of-use and depth of Gloss. Remember one thing, apply a very thin layer. I...

The difference between S100 and P21S & How to Wax Wheels without burn off.

Hey addys, I read you loud and clear. I use 3M synthetic wax protecting which by no means has a even lick of wax in it. It makes the car look like it's actually melting. But I would not use it on my wheels though....main reason being the heat factor. It'll look great for like a couple of days...

The difference between S100 and P21S & How to Wax Wheels without burn off.

"Intelligence sources" have explained to me that S100 and P21S are definitely not the same. My "Intelligent source" happen to be one of the team members who helped design a few of their products.....anyway....The difference being s100 was designed to be more gasoline resistant, after all what's...

    Am I the only one???!!!

Am I really the only Detailer on autogreek that uses a Bosch 1250DEVS? How could this be? It is one hell of a beast at pullin 6.5 amps....I personally love it as a forced rotation DA whip...I do understand its main shortcoming, however. This being the eccentricity of its offset at only 3mm...
