    Forced Rotation DA

Though the 3401 is different, I find it to be my go to machine. Haven't had any issues with finishing either. I think that's more to do with pad/product/speed. I really can't recommend it enough. Yes it gets hot. Yes it's heavy. And yes it takes a learning curve. But if anything ever happened to...

Steak, chicken, corn. I dunno. Can't go wrong with any of those three

Freezing chemicals, are they still good?

The ones that froze should be okay. I've accidentally left products like those in the garage before. It's always a better idea to keep them at room temperature and it sounds like your doing so now. I think if they had froze time and again it might be a different story. Give them a day or so to...

Patriots of Eagles? Who you cheering for?

I will admit that Brady is a great athlete and Belicheck an amazing coach, however, I find their morals are quite questionable. Especially over the more recent years. So even as a Giants fan, I am pulling for the Eagles one hundred percent. They deserve a ring. They've worked hard and have...

    Swirls: True or False?

Swirls happen. No matter what product, wash media or method you use. It's just the nature of life. Even if you found some magical way to touchlessly wash your car to perfection, everyday life will get to it. Just do your best to not instill damage and once a year or so go after the swirls. Using...

    ONR one bucket or two

One bucket and a grit guard is all you need. Let ONR do what it does best. I've been using it for nine years now and the big red sponge for about a year and a half. Plus with a second rinse bucket you technically run the chance of further diluting your wash bucket. Speaking of which, I've seen...

    Polymer net shield slickness

I'm thinking it'd best not to except for Sonax BSD. It may negate some of it's hydrophobic properties. It never had been slick to the touch. But after all , it's not there for tactile function. Its there for protection.

Products for maintaining Optimum Gloss Coat

I am not aware of that leaving anything behind but I find maintaining OPT coatings with OPT products seems to work the best for me. This is just my preference though and you may find something just as good by experimenting. I can say the Hyper Seal is great stuff. Think of it as Opti-Seal on...

How do you tell if wax is gone ?

It really does. I use it on a lot of customer cars as well as my own.

How do you tell if wax is gone ?

I personally use a product that is easy to use and cost effective so that I really never have to worry about it. I will seal my paint and then top it with Optimum Car Wax. Then every other wash or so just apply some more OCW since it only takes a few moments. Something is always there then.

When to wax after car accident repair?

I used Optimum Car Wax immediately after receiving my car back from the shop in 2014. Paint was baked. I had absolutely zero issues and was happy to have some sort of protection since it was the winter.

    Sonax or Optimum spray wax

Between the two choices, OPT. But if BSD was tossed in as an option that would be my pick. BSD beads and sheets like a coating.

    Is this a forgiveable sin?

Eh. I don't go through the touchless or non touchless but I do go to the coin op and blast it off at least once a week with just the high pressure water. Removes most of the salt and if I feel up to it I do a rinseless or waterless in the garage later. I found that D114 or ONR in a pump sprayer...

Toyota factory glass - A phenomenon I've noticed

I've seen this with other brands as well. I think it's more contamination than anything. These cars, even though new, Can sit for months at shipping depots.

How does anyone coat a car with only 10cc of product?!?!?!?

I did two coats on my Vue and had 10 ml left of my 30 ml CQUK bottle. I go by 2' x 2' sections and overlap. No issues to speak of. Though with the Opti Gloss I can see how 10 cc may be cutting it close.

    CarPro Essence!

Just remember that it will have a shelf life. Even though it's cheaper per ounce for a bigger bottle you don't want to waste it. Although you may use it much faster than I with your business lol. :dblthumb2: I got the 5 oz because that's all I really need for now. If I use it up in a few months...

    CarPro Essence!

It uses similar abrasive technology as Reflect leading me to believe that less than an ounce is more than enough for an average vehicle. I would not be surprised to get 5 vehicles maybe 6 out of it. Even if it were half of that remember, you are getting correction AND protection for a year or...

    845 Waxed exterior attracting dust/leaves

It really has nothing to do with the wax itself but rather the static electricity from the towels. It happens. Honestly, you're going to get dust on it no matter what. I don't think stressing over it is worth your time.
