Came in about 7:30 from Lowes. Picked up two of the 6' ladders for $19.99, two Chamberlain door openers for the basement for $198 and a few other odds and ends for around the house.

I haven't been in the car in a few weeks until the other night. Seats still look very nice. I only drove around the block but am pleased still with the Optimum. I will probably put another coat on tomorrow since I am off work this week. I may have to pick up some of the pinnacle stuff too.

The headlights really came out nice and still look decent but could use some more work. I will get best out of them next go round.

Still fairly new to this so I want to be sure I get this correct before I try it on my wife's H3. Meguire's Ultimate as the base and then Meguire's Gold Class Carnuba over that.

Need to do this on my daily driver, 93 Honda Del Sol. I have polished the headlights a year or so ago using the sandpaper method then buffing with the Meg headlight kit and they turned out really nice. But to have the clear with UV protection back on there would be the way to go. I will be...

I put some Optimum Leather Cleaner/protectant on the seats and door panels this evening and it really soaked it up for the first coat. I came back and did it again about 30 minutes later and it is looking much better. The leather does not look so dry already. Some regular use should help with...

Its a lot of work, but piece by piece it can be done!! :props: The hard part is getting it back up the steps.

I wound up getting the Optimum Leather Cleaner/protectant. Plan on using it every other wash.

Keep us updated on what the outcome is on this. I just picked one up after much debating. It never occurred to me that it would fail mechanically I was thinking the motor or brushes would die first.

Thanks for the replies so far. I am enjoying the detailing forums. Since I brought the car home on Saturday, I have spent most of my free time downstairs cleaning on it. Gathering info and saving the seats for last.
