Now you know what happened to quality control? They probably inspect one out of every hundred units. Quality to us is something different then quality in China. Mass production, poor quality inspection is something we need to get used to since most of the product are made south of the border or overseas.

Keep us updated on what the outcome is on this. I just picked one up after much debating. It never occurred to me that it would fail mechanically I was thinking the motor or brushes would die first.
