I fixed it in 2008 when I first bought my PC (non-xp), and it was an absolute pain in the ass and I never want to have to do it again. I used Menzerna SIP, and a Swirl remover 2nd step. As much as I tried to keep it at about 80-90% defect free....two bucket method, ONR, filtered water, etc...

I use the cheapest generic glass cleaner from Dollar General. It works just as good as my Stoner's stuff.
