Yea. I'm not sure at this point. I checked my car the following day and couldn't see the water spots anymore, but I think it just depends on the angle I look at them. I had to rush the detail job though since I moved out the following day. Do you have any pictures of your spots?

So I used my Nanoskin Mitt last weekend and I could definitely feel contaminants on the roof. That said, it's supposed to get sticky but just exactly how sticky? Should it feel tacky like tape? I rubbed it on my windshield for over a minute, and I didn't really notice a difference.

Yup. I was timing myself and it took me almost 2 hours to reach my starting point anyways so it worked out perfectly! I think I am pretty slow at this stuff though. I'm quite happy with DG105. I'm almost hoping it rains on my drive tomorrow just to see how the water beads!

It's immediate? I didn't know that. I read that it takes a couple hours vs 12-24 hours. What pad should I use for the windows? I would absolutely love to try that out since water always evaporates on my glass leaving spots. Really annoys me that I can't even use my windshield washer fluid.

Sorry, one more question. Layering DG105 vs Collinite. Since DG105 has like a 3 hour cure time w/ DG601, I'm leaning towards layering Collinite since I can just layer the wax right away as I return to the panel. Is there any reason to not layer the Collinite instead of the DG105? I imagine the...

Cool, okay thanks. Only have one day to do it all next week before I move so hopefully it doesn't rain!!! Though, I suppose, theoretically I could still polish, seal, and wax the car since i do it all in my school's parking garage.

How much do I need to prime the pad because I've read horror stories with using too much Collinite with a lot of ghosting.
