Maybe I worded that wrong. They don't necessarily get "worse" quality , but we definetly remember the people who take care of us and reciprocate (buy their drink for them every now and then, reduce their wait time by having they're drink ready before they even order, not charge for very little...

    Tip Jars

I work at Starbucks and we have tip jars at the register. The tips get added up at the end of the week and divided by the number of hours worked. They usually add anywhere from $1-$1.50 extra per hour to our pay rate; not much, but a tank of gas or a week of grocerys at the least. So they are...

    Not getting any results

Do you think I'm wasting my time using the 6.5" pads? Is it still possible to get good results with them? My only thing is I'm really trying to avoid buying new products right now (already spent more than I wanted to this month on detail supplies). If need be I guess I have no choice. Again, I...

Wow, I'm guilty of a couple of these. I'm definetly going to shrink my working area and use more pressure, as well as clean my pad more frequently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would you suggest the yellow pad for cutting then? I have a 3.5" BP and 4" pads as well. And I know now that my technique was off, I wasn't applying enough pressure to the polisher. I'm in the northwest Chicago suburbs btw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well it looks like I'm going to try again this weekend using more pressure and working a smaller area, and if need be, upping it to the m105. Thanks so much for all of your help guys! I'll update afterwards with the results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Interesting. I just watched Mike's 3 part video on using the PC for paint correction. I definetly don't think I was pressing down hard enough. Also, do you think stepping it up to the yellow cutting pad would be helpful? Thanks again for all your feedback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh, and about keeping the pad spinning... I did put the sharpie marks on the BP so I could Tell I had a lot of rotation throughout the whole process, could it be I wasn't applying enough pressure? I'm still unsure how hard I should be pressing down on the polisher itself. Sent from my iPhone...

I haven't ruled this out either. I haven't had any practice machine polishing so I've not been able to hone in on my own technique yet. I've just been studying Larry Kosilla's (my favorite detailer) and the Chemical Guys youtube videos, which have both taught me a lot. They make it look so easy...

    Not getting any results

I've been reading into the m105. It seems to be one of the best when it comes to compounds, but I'm just afraid to use such an aggressive product on my car considering my defects aren't that horrendous. Are there any dangers in using a product like m105 on a new car? Sent from my iPhone using...

So today was my first time machine polishing. I purchased a PC 7424xp with CG hex logic 6.5" pad kit (yellow, orange, green, white, blue, black, red pads). I washed using mothers cali-gold carwash, a foam gun, and a 3 bucket method (wash, rinse, and separate wheel bucket) using grit guards in all 3...
