Thanks everyone for the replies and thanks Mike for the video.
I always use clean towels and find the towels make my cleaning efforts more productive. Thanks for the feedback.
I’m certain I’m over analyzing the issue but I want to be sure. I’ve been a big fan of sponges over the years but I have started to use a MF towel with a medium nap to wash my Jeep because of all the crooks and crevices it has. It works great for that application. I’m now finding myself using...
That's a great point, Sierra. *I think* the things that are important to me are low gloss on the plastics, longevity (1-2 yr?), and ability to stay clean between washes. I'm not sure if a product like that exists. My major concern is the plastics looking like junk in 4-5 years from sun...
Just a few days ago I picked up a new Jeep Wrangler in Tank and I'd like to do the best job I can protecting it. Reading the forums I've slipped into the hole of information overload and now have no idea what to buy. The only thing that I am sure of is Iron-X.

FWIW, Meg's lists the DUB wheel cleaner as having a PH of 7.36. Isn't 'PH balanced' the first buzz word that gets thrown into all comparisons of Sonax vs xxx? For the performance, price, and smell Meguiars has nearly pushed SFE to obsolescence.
Just an idea.... if you think that the $200 will cover your time, why not overshoot a little (~$300-400) to give you some wiggle room or to add some extra touches? Then if you come under you can charge him for the actual time spent.
Does anyone know how much coverage a bottle of DLux provides? In sqft or inches? I've got a 2014 Jeep Wrangler and this looks like a perfect product for the huge fender flares, however, I've been unable to discern if a bottle will provide full coverage.
Thanks!
