I agree, the fee isn't going to cause you to go broke.... For example on a 100 dollar job the fee is $2.50, I would pay it because accepting cards should be a convenience to the customer.

Try fresh oil and chips.. Here in Pittsburgh they lay down tar and spread rock chips on top to treat slick surfaces... It sucks

Liquid souveran

I never use any liquid directly on the electronics, instead I apply to a microfiber and use that. Also, it would help to go over the car before detailing with the owner present to prevent situations like these.
