gtechniq C1 hazing - help please

I used C1 for the first time today on a black car and I guess I didn't buff soon enough and/or used too much product, but it left a hazy, psychedelic looking residue on the hood. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I Just Witnessed a Car Door Hitting my Car :(

Nope, no scratches or marring at all. The magnets are under the rubber so there's no contact on the paint. Don't think they're sold in stores for you to see in person, though.

I Just Witnessed a Car Door Hitting my Car :(

Yeah, it works. I also have a thick front license plate holder for those close parallel parkers. I've seen it in action a few times - I was crossing the street and the guy keeps backing up til he hit my bumper. The ones for the door are called DoorShox. A little pricey compared to some...

    Door edge guard..

I had a black car that came with a door edge guard already installed that looked like that. It looked good at first, but then the rubber started to slide down - the adhesive wasn't holding it anymore so I just removed it, leaving a messy goo that I had to clean up. Plus, if the top isn't super...

I Just Witnessed a Car Door Hitting my Car :(

Parking as far away from people is one of things to do - I benefit from their laziness. If I think someone will park next to me, I put on these rubber door guards that stick with magnets. I always get the strange stares putting them on, but I don't care.

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

the time to wait is entirely your decision, but if this helps - from Dr. Colorchip's site: Wash & dry the vehicle. Do any "hard" detailing first, like wet-sanding, compounding and buffing. Then use our paint. Follow up with standard waxing a week later. Refrain from using a circular buffing...

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

Don't think you want to seal the chips so when you fix it, its not bonding to the sealant. I would prob polish around the chip. Maybe if you have some pics, others can weigh in too?

Polish/Seal, fix chips now or later?

I think you should do all polishing first and fix the chips afterwards. If you fix the chips first, you would have to wait (30 days?) or so before polishing to make sure its cured.

    Sealant? Wax?

Actually, I've never tried the other way around so I guess I can't compare. I currently use WGDPS topped with Fuzion but am always looking to try something new. Looking to get some Dodo Supernatural next.

    Sealant? Wax?

I do sealant first to bond to the paint, then put wax on top of sealant.
