Door edge guard..

Was walking through KMart the other day and noticed a door edge trim guard..

What do you guys think of it?
And any suggestions?

Just trying to find a color match was the trick (for me).

I had a black car that came with a door edge guard already installed that looked like that. It looked good at first, but then the rubber started to slide down - the adhesive wasn't holding it anymore so I just removed it, leaving a messy goo that I had to clean up. Plus, if the top isn't super tight against the car, dirt and debris starts to get in. The 3M film thing looks interesting, though.

Just don't get the chrome colored one and put it ALL OVER the car.
I have seen that and it looks like SH*t
