    Why seal???

No bashing from me as I do the same. What metrics did you use to determine the sealant/wax was the "best"?

    What are these?

I'll defintely agree that certain waxes/sealants tend to attract stuff, or at least more to a noticeable degree. That seemed to be the case with me and meguiars ultimate liquid wax. No such issues with my other lsp's. Whats your lsp for interests sake?

    My first "detail"

Is this iron x the shampoo or the spray product? I'm not sure of the shampoo's iron removing capabilities if you're using it for that purpose? Maybe someone can chime in on that

    Touch up Paint

I've done mine by multiple layers of base paint until just enough space for some clear to finish out as close to level as possible. Then either wetsanding to smooth out and even the blob (followed by compound/polish) or langka blob eliminator. I'm by no mean a pro and other members might...

What products to remove impact residue?

I have a mate who came off the wrong end between his car and a pillar in a parking lot. He's got a scrape along his rear driver side panel. On and around the scrape he's got some paint transfer from the pillar onto his car. Does anyone have any recommendations on removing this? Also, any tips...

Giving soft99 fusso coat some love. Easy to apply and slick as hell!!! The water beading and sheeting is the best of anything I've used. Might be hard to get your hands on depending where you are

2014 black mazda3 sp25 gt full exterior detail

First off, I'm fairly new into detailing (~9 months in the game). Been slowly expanding my knowledge base and gradually breaking the bank trying new products and techniques. On leave from work at the moment and it's autumn down here in Oz so thought it was perfect time for an exterior detail...

Applying carpro dlux on repaired wheels

Hi guys. I recently got some curb rash repaired in a couple of my wheels. I'm thinking of coating by wheels with dlux. And using some poorboys apc and eraser during the prep process. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the safety of this? The technician said avoid acid rim cleaners...

What temps to use for heat gun

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of getting a heat gun to help speed up touch ups for stone chips. Does anyone have any experience with these? Namely what are some safe temps and fan settings for car paint. I'm assuming excessive heat with damage the paint.

6.5" pads on Flex: Flat, CCS, or Hybrid?

To those using 6.5" pads on the flex....are you using these on the standard 5.5" backing plate? Aren't the pads a little too big for the plate?

    Hydro2 vs Traditional AIO

Yep I can attest to the streaking on black cars when used in the sun. Some members here have suggested to spray some diluted hydro2 directly onto streaks and should wipe off with a MF towel. You'd need to do this immediately to not allow it to cure

    Products for exterior trim

Cheers mate. Yes, im wondering how I'm going to apply it to the smaller areas (eg. The thin rubber trim on the window seals) considering how chunky the applicator pad it. I'm thinking those cotton make up applicators. Any other suggestions?

    Products for exterior trim

Thanks for all the tips guys. I've settled for carpro dlux because the idea of durability and protection sounds enticing, plus a lot of suggestions weren't available in Australia.
