Seems like you'd have trouble with a medium abrasive polish and such a light pad as the white. IMHO, either of these with an orange pad, and SSR1 with the white if you're going for a really fine finish. In my system, white pads are only used for glaze.

The Miata looks nice! What kind of machine are you using?

I have a 6" orange LC pad and a Griot's 3" orange in my hand, and the LC feels firmer and less soft. I'd say it has more cut. This would be consistent with my experience with the 6" Griot's pads as well - noticed that the orange LC pads was more effective.

I really doubt you'll be unhappy. The specs look strong, and their return policy is really terrific (180 days). I'd appreciate it if you'd post some comments when you get it.
