Up Close & Personal: Detailer's Paint Coating

Safe for rubber and plastic trim? Or is tape necessary? If not, any other products with this flexibility?

    Thin motorcycle paint

They wouldn't show up in the photos (tried soon after). Will I be able to pull this off with the 6.5 inch pads? I have a Flex now. My only concern is the recessed portion of the tank.

    Black Vinyl Fender Flares

    In bulk: Meguiar's D156 $32 Klasses KSG $25 Spray bottle $5 Mix 20-25% KSG into 75-80% Meguiar's D156/UQW ...and you'll still be spraying this stuff into 2020. :)

    Black Vinyl Fender Flares

On a side note, I've tried this same method, but at a 50/50 w/ Chem Guys Luber and KSG. What a PITA. Luber is too "wet" if you know what I mean. Streaks, etc. Dust magnet as well. Luber works awesome for claying tho. PS. Stay away from water based products. The product needs to bond to the...

    Black Vinyl Fender Flares

Everyone replies that Ultima Tire & Trim Guard works but that's $31-$32. I used 2-3oz. of Klasse Sealant Glaze in Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax sprayed on an applicator pad and wiped my whole truck down. The vinyl fender flares on my truck look great for a 3.5 year old truck. It hasn't streaked...

    Thin motorcycle paint

I don't have anything tool wise. Just a ton of MF stuff, Klasse twins, Meguiars QD/QW, Chem Bros Luber, plastic polish, foam/MF application pads, etc. I'm getting ready to buy everything - as I don't have polishing products (polisher, pads, polisher accessories, or chemicals) and I want to do...

    Thin motorcycle paint

My motorcycle tank is as dull as ever and the bike is only one year old. The clear/paint that was once full gloss black is a semi-gloss near the crotch area, and a little on the sides from clamping my legs to the tank. A lot of sport bikes (information shared on forums and experience from...

Thanks guys/gals. Compressed air? Can you explain?

Gloss overspray on a frame/porous surface

It's definitely paint as my truck is silver. Anyone have ideas how to get the it off without penetrating the flat frame paint?

    Ran out of microfiber cleaner

Why is that? I understand fabric softeners harden the fabric, but why not dry? I figure they'll fluff up and loosen up more particles. Ill read/listen though...

    Ran out of microfiber cleaner

The vinegar seems to soften them but what about breaking all the chemicals down in the laundry? To those that added bleach. I wouldn't worry about it now, too late, and a lot of city water has about 1ppm in chlorine content so you truly won't be chlorine "free."
