    is polish dangerous?

I never seen Mike Phillips wearing eyeglasses, gloves or mask... maybe there's no danger really? Which is the real toxic substance (except silicon) in these products?

    is polish dangerous?

Hi guys. I've got a banal question for you: are waxes (non natural), polishes and compounds harmful by inhalation? The question is expecially for Menzerna (I'm using the FG400...) and for Porzelack (...the express wax) products. Obviously the question is also for the other brands. Thank you very...

Menzerna FG400: how to really use it

I'm using a flex 3401 for a refinishing work. Do you think I can use first a wool pad and then a medium pad? Does it make sense to use a soft pad with this product? In other words: Can you tell me what's the different result that I get when I use a soft, a medium, coarse, a microfiber or a wool...

Menzerna FG400: how to really use it

Hi everyone. I'd need just quick suggestions about this product that I know you know really much. This is a two steps (I'd say multiple steps) product which allows you to start from a really bad situation and carries you to a medium-high gloss surface. I think it is a special product and I guess...

    drill for polish: why not?

What's the difference with: 1. this: Makita® 1/2 in. 2-Speed Electric Drill | Princess Auto 2. plus this: Makita Hook and Loop Backing Pad-743052-5 at The Home Depot ?? I can see quite the same height of the holder, you can change the speed (here 2 different speeds but there are drills with...

    drill for polish: why not?

well there are few options that solve these problems: 1. drills have also a holder like this one: Hitachi DV18DSDL/JW 18V Cordless li-ion Combi Drill (2 x 4Ah Batteries) which is the same of this by the way: Meguiars DA Power System 2. many drills have a potentiometer to set the speed (and...

Menzerna - New Names and Product Numbers

Hello mike! In the pic I saw there is a corrispondence between polishes and sanding marks. The FG400 should remove 1200 grit marks: what does it means, 1200 CAMI or ISO nomenclature (in other words american or european sizes)? Thanks! PS: this is for menzerna products, is that possible to do...

    drill for polish: why not?

I can't understand which is the problem with drills... why should it damage the paint? What if I had a velcro sanding pad where I could stick the polishing pad and go at max speed (2280 rpm) with the drill? What's the problem with that? PS: polishers go around 4000 rpm, right?

    drill for polish: why not?

Hi I would ask you what's the difference between using a polisher or using a drill (max 2280 rpm). I know the drill is not indicated but why?

how to remove a big dent

I really don't care abou the paint because now it's completely ruined and there is also some rust in the upper part... I'm pretty confident with paints although I'm not an expert in the field. What I think is that I can only do a much better work than the actual situation of the part! Anyway I...
