Question about Meguiar's Pure Polish and Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax

Guess it all depends on perspective and advertising too. I havnt seen Adams in stores besides licensed dealers. They have really high prices, but doesn't mean it's high end stuff. I had a gallon of their APC and then realized why am I paying $25+ when I can get some Meg's APC for $10. Adams...

    Spray Waxes ?

Can you apply the optimum spray wax when the car is still wet after a wash or better on a dry car? Also, better to spray directly on surface rather than onto microfiber towel or foam applicator to apply? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question about Meguiar's Pure Polish and Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax

I was merely trying to differentiate between their "pro line" and non pro line. Probably just worded it wrong! You're Right, I see the ULW being sold on many sites geared towards professionals an enthusiasts alike. None the less, my comment was to say that I was impressed with it and I feel...

    Tire Dressing Recommendations

Another vote for CG VRP. I use it on customer's tires and go around and dress the exterior plastics as well. Like people are saying...you can't beat the price and a little goes a long way!

    Spray Waxes ?

Not sure if it's technically a "Spray wax" but you may like Chemical Guys V7 as well. It's actually marketed as a spray sealant, but I use it as just a really nice detail spray. And speaking of detail spray...aren't they considered spray waxes anyway? Or only the ones that have carnauba in them?

Question about Meguiar's Pure Polish and Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax

Pics of the finished product! I used ULW on a black Mazda once and was quite impressed for an OTC product. It had a really nice gloss to it and was super easy to apply. Good luck!

Lets chat about 303 on interiors...

I use 1z cockpit premium as my maintenance interior cleaner...love how it freshens up everything...and then I apply 303 to the dash and tops of door panels every 3rd wash or so for added protection against the UV rays. Supposedly 1z CP has UV protection too but I've always trusted 303 for...

    Frustrated after my last wash...

This is all great info. My drying towels are probably coated in v7 among other things. I have onr so maybe I'll try that as a drying aid. Do you just just the whole car down after your rinse right before drying? Or just most the spot you are drying then move on? And suggestions on best way to...

    Frustrated after my last wash...

And is it true to say that it's worse to mix towels (when washing) that are used for different purposes rather than according to colors / darks and lights?

    Frustrated after my last wash...

Yeah it definitely sounds like that is what it is. I'll have to do a better job of washing my towels then! So a wash with APC and some vinegar might fix the issue with my current drying towels?

    Frustrated after my last wash...

My towels are all just a bit over a year old. I maybe do a 5 cars a month during the warmer months. Seems a little premature to be wearing out?

    Frustrated after my last wash...

I sense a MFtech order coming soon anyway :) love that site. I'll check out that towel. So are there bad reviews for the CG micro fiber wash? I havnt seemed to have any problems with it.

    Frustrated after my last wash...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been using CG Maxi Suds II. Other washes I've used are Adam's Shampoo and CG Mr. Pink. I was actually just talking to my neighbor and he says our water has lots of calcium in it. I just moved into a new house so the water change is part of the issue I'm having...

    Frustrated after my last wash...

I am a weekend warrior and only detail a few cars for business a month. Every car but one that I've done over the last 2 years has had a polishing step, so any water spots or poor drying techniques would be easily corrected when I work with the polisher. The last few washes that I've done...

what are your biggest problems about running/starting your business?

Have business cards on you at all times! I've started "tagging" nice cars where ever I go. My eye automatically goes to cars I like when I'm out and about in a parking lot so I usually just stick a business card in their drivers side window. Thought about maybe including a coupon that's...

Simple way to clean car mats ??

I don't have an extractor or a pressure washer either. I first agitate with a stiff brush, then vacuum, spray lots of diluted Meg's APC+ on the mats, agitate with brush soaked in hot water (I keep a bowl of clean hot water near by for this), then wipe dry with a black microfiber towel...some of...

New detail menu; looking for feedback

Spot on man, great work! Air freshener scent maybe? And under extra surface maybe glass sealant? I know a lot of people are always like, "Oh! Can you do that thing that makes the water just fly off my windshield while driving!?"
