let just say i "HAD" the cleanest 98 Silverado...

I feel your pain. I hit a deer head on years ago in my dad's truck. It knocked out the grill, pushed fan back into and destroyed the radiator, and wrinkled both front fenders. It was a buck and a big one. He was so thick the truck could not roll over him, just kept pushing him forward . I...

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 2 Versions ?

There was a previous version to the wdgps ver 3.0. It's durability according to many was not up to par with the current version. Looks and ease of use are very similar to the new version. I have not been able to ascertain for sure as to whether the new version is polycharged or a new polymer...

    polycharger help.

It's my understanding Klasse does not need to be used quickly, and the shelf life remains unchanged on that particular product/products after polycharging with H2O.

    What went wrong?

What did you use to remove the AIO. Looks like scratches from something in your removal material.

    ?? Which Collinite product??

Have you used 845? I agree that I dont think 476 is a problem, but for me it is no where close to as easy as 845.

    ?? Which Collinite product??

845 is pretty durable. Maybe not as durable as 476, but for ease of use in my experience 845 is easily the winner. It's like I would rather do a coat of 845 every 2 - 3 months as a coat of 476 every 3 - 4 months. But that's just me.

    Rinseless washing in the cold?

I agree, and do the same. I however would call the water I use warm, not really hot, hot.

Two "Must Have" Car Washing Tools - The Brass Shut-off Valve & Brass Quick Connector

I would not be without the shut off valve. A time saver that pays for itself many times over in water savings, and good for the enviroment as well.

Mike, What's the story with WD-40?

It works pretty well for getting gum out of carpets. I use ice and scrape off all I can the wd-40 to dissolve the rest. Follow up with megs apc or some carpet cleaner to remove the wd-40 smell. It has never caused me a problem

    Wolfgang Duo PC question

I wouldnt use the Paintwork Cleanser when applying wax after the Finish Glaze. I would go straight to the p21s, reason being the cleanser would remove the fillers left behind by the glaze. Now, if this is not a traditional type glaze, i.e. has little to no fillers(I'm not familiar with this...

    Favorite all in one/APC?

I have used it on tires, wheels, interior, etc. It is good stuff. Very comparable to Megs APC, but if I recall correctly the Megs is cheaper per ounce. However, you can buy the Poorboys APC in quantities less than a gallon.. The Megs APC also smells better to me.

Winterizing - Best Practice with Wolfgang Sealant question

I also dont think dawn hurts at all if used only ocasionally. I wouldn't use it more than once a year. One argument against dawn is that some believe it dries out trim and rubber seals if used more than just on that rare ocassion.

Winterizing - Best Practice with Wolfgang Sealant question

I would stay away from the degreaser for sure and probably the apc+. Maybe others here have experience with apc+ and will comment, but I dont. I dont do anything specific for the undercarraige as I am in SE MO and we dont get but 3 or 4 storms a year of any consequence. I just make sure I...

    Insulator Wax 845

Sit it on a window pane in the sun or put it in a tub of warm/hot water. It will liquify and get to almost a milk like texture. A little goes a long, long way. I think you will like it.

Winterizing - Best Practice with Wolfgang Sealant question

For a strong wash, I use p21s TAW which youcan get right here at the geek. Just spray off each panel with water, spray on the p21s and let it set (but DO NOT let it dry) and wash off with your regular Meguiars shampoo. Be sure to rinse real good. The p21s taw is some very versatile stuff...
