    Opti-Coat Pro or Something else?

Do you know anyone that could sell Cquartz Finest without being an authorized installer?

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

Yeah I think I'm going to make a custom work light from one of the DIY garage lighting threads. It seems pretty legit and the light shows EVERYTHING according to some of the forum members. 8-10K is overkill. I'm thinking $100-200 is good enough haha

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

Yeah I've never messed with electrical wiring before and I'm not sure if I want to fiddle with it. The garage door has some wires sticking out on both sides where the door slides up and down, and the motor is plugged into an outlet that's on the ceiling. There's also a crawlspace above the...

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

Love the wheels on that truck! Yeah, all the outlets in the garage and the door are all controlled by that GFCI breaker/outlet. Kind of weird. I ended up going back to the hardware store for an LED lamp. I wish I would've thought about the extension cord idea a lot sooner but I'll keep that in mind.

I don't know how to do that, but if I could I would. All the outlets (non GFCI) in the garage are controlled by that one GFCI outlet. It also controls the garage door.

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

Hey guys, just bought two Lithonia shoplights and I ran into another problem... The fixture trips my GFCI breaker when I use more than 1 bulb (uses 2 bulbs per fixture) and I've ran out of ideas to have them not trip. What should I do?

How many lumens is that LED light on the pedestal?

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

My garage is only a 1-car but I'd like to see how many I can fit for optimal lighting. I hate leaving the garage open because dust tends to fly my way so hopefully it all works out. I'm not knowledgeable in hard-wiring so I might just daisy chain everything and run them to a socket.

Wow that sounds pretty cheap for $10. I didn't think flouro lighting would be that great but I will give that a whirl. CHEAP lighting is always a plus!

Awesome, I think I actually stumbled upon that thread while searching for LED lamps. I think the thread was called "DIY garage lighting." I'll definitely check that out later on today, thank you!

Need some recommendations for garage lighting

Hey guys, I had just received my products from Autogeek and I'm eager to do a full detail on my vehicle but there's just one problem, my garage lighting sucks! I have one light that's hard mounted to my ceiling and it's barely giving off any light. What should I do? Should I go to Lowe's and...

Removing dealer sticker on rear bumper

Just finished removing all of it :xyxthumbs: Had to soak the imprint in Goo Gone for 10 minutes and washed the affected area with some Meguiar's shampoo. I'll be polishing the entire car this weekend when I get my Flex 3401 kit! Can't wait! Woohoo!

Removing dealer sticker on rear bumper

Thank you! Just gently removed it with my fingernail but the letters left an imprint with what appears to be residue? Hopefully it doesn't stay like that after I soak it in Goo Gone.

Removing dealer sticker on rear bumper

Hi everyone, Just wondering if it's safe to use Goo Gone/Goo Off on my rear bumper that has a giant decal sticker. If so, I would probably use that and some floss to work it out.

Hello from the armpit of New Mexico!

Awesome, thank you! I'll be sure to buy at least 3 of each color.

Hello from the armpit of New Mexico!

Are hybrid pads the best pads to use on the Flex 3401?

Hello from the armpit of New Mexico!

How easy was it to apply CQuartz UK? I've been looking at those coatings and thinking about applying it myself in the near future. Does it significantly reduce the impact of rock chips?

Question on New Car paint protection

If you have the money try looking into opti-coat. I believe there are two different kinds of opti-coat, one that's available to the pubic and one that's only available through professional installers. If you get it professionally done then they provide a 5 year warranty on it.

Question on New Car paint protection

Congratulations on your new car! It looks wicked sick! I would honestly wrap the entire car with Xpel clear bra film but make sure you get it done by a professional. Very costly, but it's well worth it in the long run! Good luck!
