I have a black car as well and feel your pain! I recently started using rinsless wash when it is just dusty from sitting out at work and daily driving. Works awesome and have introduced no damage to the paint or wheels. Then every now and then I will follow up with DG awuawax
I went out and did a rinsless wash with this last night. My car had just been 2 bucket washed a week ago so it was just covered in dust and a few bugs. first impression was the smell and how slick it felt. I mixed 3Oz into 32Oz of water to pre soak panels before I went to work.
I used the GDWM...
mixed up 3oz product to 32ox of water to pre soak my panels. this stuff seems to be super slick so far. I think I am going to like it when I give it a try
I found that you really have to lower expectations with glaze. They are good for VERy light imperfections in my use with them but they can help add some nice depth and gloss
I have used glaze with sealnt plenty of times. I have used the glaze before sealant and after and never really saw any differnce in how long the sealant would last. Something like opticoat I would apply first though. As far as glaze goes I like adams brillant glaze and poorboys black hole...
First place I would start is getting the products for a proper washing and clay. So 2 buckets with grit gaurds and a good shampoo. Then from there if you are wanting to stay with hand polishing for now I would look into a product like Poorboys black hole glaze. Follow that with some collinite...
all that for $80?! you were selling yourself short man. You did one heck of a job for that price point. Some people will just never be happy with results and always look at the negative parts of life. I say brush him off and keep on doing great work
Just got this as my free sample from the last sale. Cant wait to try it out this weekend. I have only done 1 rinsless wash before so hopefully I like this one a little more than ONR
I did apply in direct sunlight to see how it performed. I applyed to the tank and let it be for a minute while a ran to the garage. When I came back to remove it came off just as easy as when I apply in the garage so that was great! Do note that the bike had only been in the sun for a few minutes...
Sorry for the delay! Got the bike out of the garage and had the chance to put some proto wax on there! Bike is a 2005 R6 with 16k miles on the ticker. Again I used a very small amount of wax and got great results.
