    Meguiars or Menzerna?

Thanks guys. Yes, I saw truckbutt's fine work was very impressed. I will also be correcting and maintaining a pre-ceramic Mercedes and a new BMW for family members for what it's worth.

    Meguiars or Menzerna?

Lots of swirls over most of car. I don't think they are deep (famous last words huh) but they are widespread. I know I could go with Megs #105/#205 also but from what I read it sounds like Menzerna SIP will be easier to use than the #105 and should work with either a LC orange or white pad...

    Occupy Wall Street

Final thought: the mechanism for change is built into our govt. It is ultimately up to us, the citizens, to become more involved in the process in order to hold our elected "representatives" accountable and replace them when they fail us. Granted it becomes difficult when the political process...

    Occupy Wall Street

I think it's wrong to demonize public employees. Yes most of them have pretty good health care and retirement benefits BUT most of them are very conscentious and dedicated workers who don't earn much in the way of wages while providing basic services that most, if not all, of us have come to...

+1. The demonstrations should be directed at our unresponsive and ineffective federal govt.

    Occupy Wall Street

Only time will tell if we've reached a turning point of historical significance or just another blip on the screen. This nation has always had it's haves and have nots. The "middle class" reached it's peak in the post WWII era. IMO the middle class as we know it is unsustainable given the greed...

    What brought you to AutoGeek?

The amount of information available and the manner in which members offer it attracted me to the forum. The available stock and pricing attracted me to the store.

    one step cleaner wax

Meguiars A12 cleaner wax is a good product, widely available, inexpensive and gives good results. It's been around a long time but still gets the job done.

    Listen to this ladies RANT!

That is great Joe. I almost fell out of my recliner laughing. Actually I think I saw the car she is referring to headed down Citrus Ave the other day. Oh man, my side hurts.

    Meguire's Technical Bulletins

+1. I've used UP by hand and it's cleaners are mildly aggressive with lots of rich polishing oils. Finish off with some good wax or sealant and Shazam!

    M105 or UC as a 1 step?

I haven't used m105 but UC was developed from m105 for meg's consumer line so it's pretty user friendly. I've seen it remove a lot of swirls using a 7.5" polishing pad in short time.

    How does your white "shine"

I think we all agree that black is spectacular when well cared for but a properly prepped and finished white is also a thing of beauty and doesn't show minor defects like black will. It's kind of like comparing a porter house steak and prime rib, both delicious but just different.

    1954 Pick-up single stage

My understanding of m07 glaze is that it has no cleaner so, although it's a good product, it doesn't actually offer much correction. Another suggestion would be Meg's Ultimate Polish which has light cleaning ability combined with polishing oils.
