Meguiars or Menzerna?

Feed back pleaseI just got my new PC7424XP with an assortment of LC 5.5" pads and I'm anxious to buff the swirls out of my black '11 Mustang. I have Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish but I'm thinking of getting some Menzerna P091E Intensive Polish or Super Intensive Polish and P085RD finish polish.

I'll finish it off with Megs #26 liquid or Blackfire Wet Diamond topped with Collinite 845.

My question is do you think the step up to Merzerna polishes will give a noticeable improvement in finish over the Meguiars combo?
 
Your talking OTC versus professional grade... That stang is new(er) so don't see the need for nothing to crazy past SIP... I use them both... Have 5 gallon of 151 and for all our one steppers we use 151 but for all our premium details they get Menz
I say Menz...
 
Lots of swirls over most of car. I don't think they are deep (famous last words huh) but they are widespread. I know I could go with Megs #105/#205 also but from what I read it sounds like Menzerna SIP will be easier to use than the #105 and should work with either a LC orange or white pad depending on severity of swirls followingi a test section.

I'm inclined to think that the SIP/PO85rd combo will result in a more refined end result but I welcome input from others with more experience.
 
I would stick with what you already have. Use the Meg UC and UP. Definitely, do a small 20" square and see how you like it.

If you don't like the results then post your concerns here, at that point different technique or products maybe needed.
 
truckbutt is a poster here and just did a thread about getting the swirls out of his 2011 Black Mustang, and I think he used Blackfire as well...give it a search and check it out...there's probably some additional information in there as well.
 
do a test spot with what you have and if you're not satisfied...try something else...
 
Thanks guys. Yes, I saw truckbutt's fine work was very impressed. I will also be correcting and maintaining a pre-ceramic Mercedes and a new BMW for family members for what it's worth.
