    DA on plastic facias?

Just take the extra time to tape up trim contained in the fascia and treat it just like everything else. That extra 10 minutes to tape will make life much easier with the cleanup.

10% IPA or 5% APC before waxing?

NXT has cleaners in it, so stripping the paint isn't completely necessary. You are already using a pre-wax cleaner so you should be able to apply directly after.

How to promote good "car hygiene" to customer after detail

Just let them go and when they come back sell them a paint correction service to correct the new swirls. You really can't worry too much about someone who is not willing to listen. Truck Appearance Question

I love the look of black rims on just about any color vehicle. I wouldn't go for matte unless you don't mind putting a lot of extra work in to keep them clean. Matte black tends to streak, show dirt alot, and is overall difficult to keep clean.

If you are going to be detailing as a professional, you gotta be prepared for any situation that you run into. A large selection of polishes and pads that you have tested and know to work well is essential. Also, wetsanding is sometimes necessary to remove the deeper stuff.
