I think unless you have some pretty serious swirls (ie deep) then 2500 should be fine. You can always use it with a pad with more cut. 2500 and 4500 don't dust at all for me, 1000 does a bit, but like I said, it's probably more because I'm a noob than because the product is no good :S

You said you wanted it to sound better, why not change the exhaust? Or do you want to change the intake sound? Honestly, if it was me, I wouldn't touch it, unless you plan to do some serious mods down the track. One or two small mods won't make a big difference to the power/driving experience...

I think you could go from pg1000 to sf4000. I went from pg1000 to sf4500 and it seemed fine, although I am a noob, so do a test spot and see :)

I think it look pretty good! Main question is if you are happy with it... If it was me is apply the sealant, then come back and do it again some other time, maybe after you've done a few more cars...
