In my opinion, the reason people are upset with your OP is because it sounds like you are deceiving your customers. If you tell them that you will hit it with something hard, then only spot finish parts as most people don't see them, and do the best to make the car look good for what they want...

+1 I'd just try and get them all into 1 container first (even if they are still chunks of it) and then once they are all there maybe think about a very small amount of extra heat to meld them together a little.

I always worry about the amount to downward pressure with an orange CCS pad, I'm afraid I'm going to dent a panel pushing down when there is such little give in the orange pad :S

Maybe post a picture... Are you left with the big/deep swirl marks, or just fine swirls?

I know some products have fillers, maybe this is what you need to use to help hide some of those marks. I assume you polishing your car removed some form of filler that was hiding these marks in the first place.

I'm a complete noob also, but it looks like something has eaten away at your clear. This looks (to me) like the same sort of damage that you get from things like bird crap eating into your clear. Hope this post didn't just add more confusion.

SF4500 is very very low cut, I have used it with a grey pad with good results, I then put an lsp down with a blue pad. Have fun :)

Yeah, that never made sense to me when reading about the CCS pads, the gold one is at the bottom (and the list seems to go first step to last step), but I don't think you use it for the lsp

Btw, what colour CCS pad would you use to apply paste wax? There are so many different ones! Blue? Red?
