    I don't think this one will buff out . . .

    Norah, sorry to hear of your situation. :( I have had a car totaled before (also by a redlight-runner with no insurance) and though I might give a few pointers. 1) Make sure the insurance company is aware of all the additions/improvements you had made to the vehicle, i.e. tell them about...

    metallic flake

    I was impressed with the new DP sealant's ability to make metallic flake pop. I won some in the contest, and just had a chance to finally try it out. I hope to be able to post a review tonight, with :Picture:

    Time to show off

    Nice looking car. I like the 99-04 body style myself, but I'm biased. :cheers:

    OCW vs NXT and some misc

    My grit gaurds float too :( I tried the NXT spray wax before I became a GEEK, and had similar feelings about it. It was super slick, had the same glossiness as the liquid, but a huge pain to work with. Now, I'm really enjoying my Aquawax, even though there are several other similar products...

    A little DP Sealant Review

    Mine comes in later this week. Glad to see someone's gotten good results with the product already (not that I expected any less). I just hope I can show it off as well as Mike T has done :applause:

    A little DP Sealant Review

    Mike, the truck looks great. I'm waiting for my DP sealant sample to show up tomorrow. I hope to have a chance to use it before the week is out. I'm planning on topping mine with MaxWax, and should be able to get pics at every step of the way. Can't wait... :awesome:

    Winners!

    Well, order placed. A little slow on the uptake, but I won't be able to try it this weekend anyway. Hopefully, I'll be able to test it out early next week. Thanks again to everyone at AG :applause:

    Durability Experiment -> Cloudy Hood?

    :iagree: Don't remember where it was exactly, but I saw someone post an idea once that would be perfect for situations like this. It would basically be an additive that you mix in with your AIO/Carnuba/Sealant while applying it, that would cause it to turn a much more visible color (like...

    Winners!

    Just wanted to say thanks, AG, for always putting on great promotions like this. This is the first time I've actually won one, but I always look forward to them. You guys are the absolute BEST when it comes to taking care of your customers, and thats why we keep coming back! :cheers: :righton...

    Durability Experiment -> Cloudy Hood?

    The car was in the garage, I just meant I couldn't get it out to get any good pics because of the rain. It's been a long day today, but I'll have some time off tomorrow afternoon at which point I'll try the IPA wipe down and LSP re-application. I'll update (hopefully with pics) afterwards...

    Durability Experiment -> Cloudy Hood?

    The extent of my knowledge on #26 is that it contains Carnuba. I won't claim to be an expert, because I'm not. There is a very good chance it could contain synthetics as well. Either way, this still wouldn't change the fact that the cloudiness I've seen covers the whole hood, under all three...

    Which sports car are you?

    I'm a Chevrolet Corvette! You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do. That's really funny...

    Durability Experiment -> Cloudy Hood?

    You're correct, the MaxWax and the #26 are both Carnuba's. The Duragloss is a synthetic, but I was really more interested in which carnuba would last longest. I'll be using the Duragloss over the winter months, and just wanted to get an idea of how long it will last with proper care. Let me...

    Test out the new DP Premium Surface Shield

    “PICK ME” I'd love to try this stuff. If it's anywhere close to the other DP products I have, it'll be awesome. Thanks meghan. Nick

    Durability Experiment -> Cloudy Hood?

    Hello all, I'll be brief, but I'd like some feedback on a problem I had this weekend. I hit the hood of my Laser Red Mustang with SSR1, and then layed down three different LSP's in different areas with the idea of doing a durability test. The products were Meg's #26, DP MaxWax (love the...

    Just how good is a typical wash?

    well, I did the BS pre-soak and then washed with NXT. No more sap!!:applause: Not sure if it was the BS or the actual wash that took it off (my moneys on the BS though), but it's definately not there anymore. Also, I know I wouldn't have to clay the whole car, but it was all over the...

    Just how good is a typical wash?

    Is your typical two bucket wash going to remove fresh (less than two-day old) tree sap? I noticed my car had a rough feeling to the paint yesterday, probably from having to park under a tree at work after lunch. I really don't want to have to clay the car again (just did it last month). Will...

    You can name the Foam Gun Soap!

    DP Foam Party in a Bottle :cheers: (or just Foam Party, I added the rest for extra effect).
