if your vehicle is that old, you will need to be agressive.... your backing plate is too big, get a 4.5" backing plate, and get some 5.5" pads, as the smaller pads will correct quicker.... your going to need more than one pad, one for each product you use.... you are going to need a cutting...

i would think if used with a white pad it would finish down enough to not need another polishing step....

trust me, your not going to be taking any paint off with the pc.... also, one more thing, you will need to be using speed 5-6 for polishing, and some medium pressure with your hand on top of the polisher...you wont get any correction without using the upper speeds on the pc... i use speed 2...

something that seems to be missed here.... when polishing for correction, start with the least agressive approach... start out with a more mild polish and less agressive pad, like the white pad and do a small section on your hood and see how that works out for you, dont forget to work the...

i personally wouldnt use poliseal as my only protection...i use the poliseal as a mild polish/cleaner, then top it with upp....any protection from the poliseal will just help out the lsp i put on top of it....

if you using it by hand with a microfibre hand applicator and removing with microfibre towel, you are waisting your time and money.... if you using it by hand i would atleast at a minimum use a foam applicator... if using a machine, what pad you use is going to dictate what kind of cutting...

who said i havent tried different shampoos...i have tried a shitload of different carwash shampoos over the last 20 years...they all pretty much do the same thing....i personally dont think one is that much better then the next...outside of pretty colors and bottles, carwash soaps are pretty...

the key is a really controlled lighting enviorment...its going to be harder, but be patient
