A little something extra for the customer

There was a regular corner car wash near me years ago that would leave a cheapo MF towel with a couple of mints and a thank you card for first time customers......people loved it!

First post - Question about blue jean dye on seats

The other day I was in a crunch (ran out of OPC) and I used Purple Power 10:1 and it took the jean dye transfer right off the seats with no dwell time. I used terry towels to agitate and clean then followed with Lexol leather cleaner but didn't see any difference after going over with the...

Yes, another giveaway. Next up, Mothers.

I've tried quite a bit of Mother's products but out of all......favorite product is definitely Mother's foaming all wheel and tire cleaner. I was hesitant to try it but glad I did. Input on dealing with cancellations

VP.....I do have the Square and I must say......that is a must for detailers! I wasn't thinking an exact amount but more of a percentage like ZMC mentioned. In my case, I would never go for the CC info. I would be too afraid that they would try to blame me for any future charges or anything that...

    Input on dealing with cancellations

I am a weekend warrior and along with that, all work is done by appointment. My problem is dealing with the cancellations. I have people dropping out on me last minute and then have no one to squeeze in and I end up with a wasted day and no money. Most of the cancellations don't ever come back...

What to use on faded plastic trim that lasts?

Testing is suggested first for this one, but one thing I tried (by mistake at first) was Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax. I read of people saying that it does stain and others saying that it doesnt stain. So I was waxing my friends 2002 Chrysler Sebring which he was wanting to get rid of and I got...
