Few Question About Glass Waterspot Removal..

Good job removing waterspot on glass! I always use rotary and foam cutting pad. Working with DA takes too much time and energy. You can use glass scrub or even cutting polish. Glass is much much harder than a car's paint, so you will do less harm to it, but you still have to be careful though...

    CGs Optical Polish Advice

you can try, but if you are gonna use Black Light, dont use it as a finishing polish. use it solely either as an AIO or a sealant. you will get maximum result that way.

    CGs Optical Polish Advice

welcome! i have been using CG polishes quite often on soft, medium and hard paint. my suggestion is to do a test spot. no theory will beat practice. find Mike's article about doing a test spot. A little bit correction on the polishes line: V32 is extreme compound V34 is compound/polish V36 is...

    chrome wheels

You can try chrome polish. Mothers makes some really good chrome and metal polish. Or you try Autosol that removes bluish thingy from chrome. I guess it is similar to your brown spot :)

Keeping track of the clean face of folded MF towels

I mark some of them with 1-8. Start with 1 and end with 8. I use these towels only for buffing of polish, wax or coating.

I purchased my own car two years ago and have been detailing ever since. I am a kinda guy who does everything by myself, dont really trust others to touch my car.

    2007 trashed Red Yaris

Thanks for all the comment. I've been hearing a lot from this forum that Black Light contains a little bit of abrasives. I've been using it as a glaze/sealant. Since this was the perfect opportunity to test it out, i said why not? The choice of MF cutting pad that provides better cut and finish...

    2007 trashed Red Yaris

Howdy master detailers? This is my friend's car. She was an aesthetician (not for car obviously. we are). a lot of mineral deposit in crevices, really bad swirlmarks everywhere, baked on dirt on wheels, hard waterspot on glass. she had problems with the vision at night (because of waterspot and...

dawn soap/normal wash for polish streaks pre-wax?

In my experience, waxing will remove the streaking. But if you are not in such hurry, some pre-wax cleaners work well :) If there is a lot of polishing dust, might as well wash the car. Car soap is not that strong to remove polish i guess.

    What is the "best" coating

Aquartz PPF + Titanium might be just the thing. PPF is the foundation/primer. Titanium is the second layer for the slickness and water beading/sheeting. Topping with same products might work. I've seen some detailers do that.
