I'm doing a Chevy 2500 PU this weekend and one side there is a plastic body strip. It's white and has yellowed badly in the sun. I'm thinking I can burn through it with some moderately aggressive polish and bring out clean, white plastic underneath. Am I correct, or should I go about this...

My blue waffle weave wrecked my paint after onr... But my white one did not. Hmm.

Pretty much all of them give me a headache if they have even a marginally strong scent. The only exception would be coconut, vanilla, or grape scented products. My wife always digs through my new detailing supplies so she can smell them when they come in though. lolotfl!

I tried the grout sponge from home depot tonight. Couldnt find the made in greece one, only made in taiwan. It did an OK job, but it didnt really hold the ONR solution very well. Didnt seem to mar the finish any.

One thing I found funny about it. There are no suds and it drains completely out of my Adam's washing pad. It's bizzarre, it pours out faster than I could wring it (if I wanted to wring it) just from gravity. Yet the pad holds other car wash stuff like it owes it money. Huh.

Seems to me that I use less product with the HT. They also seem to work more effectively with 105/205, but I haven't done any real back to back tests.

I like the home depot bucket for $1.99. ($2.99 with lid) I also use one for my dp-restore pad cleaner. Assuming you have one around there.

Are you using a rinsing bucket w/grit guard? I played around with ONR on my cars last night and the solution stayed fairly clean with this method. Though I did notice that the pads got dirty whereas my usual car wash soap seemed to clean the pads as it went.

I have a Canon 30D. It's a pretty good little camera. More importantly, I have a few lenses that I really like. Like the 50mm 1.8, the 70-200 4.0l and the 24-105mm f/4L. Haven't found a reason to upgrade the camera body yet. My money is better spent on glass. ..Maybe when full frame comes down...
