Product Fragrance/Smells...

Whoa back up, it doesn't smell like bananas? I have been wanting to try it but figure it had the same banana scent as the DP Interior Protectant.

Ya a little banana, tropical type smell. I have both so I'll go home and compare the smells and report back... I'll send you some to try:props:

But I love the smell of bananas...

Pinnacle Bodywork shampoo = coconut

DP Total Inerior Cleaner = tropical oh my goodness um um

OK, another order is stocking up in my cart LOL just for smells... Have to try the DP tropical.

haha, The Pinnacle Shampoo reminds me of when i was growing up and my Mom and Aunt would use that coconut sun bathing lotion stuff. Makes me think of summer.

Oh and BTW Cee Dog, I am glad you changed your avatar, the other one looked like a medical procedure. :props:

Oh my! I didn't see that!

This one is temporary as well but I promise the next will be vetted throughly to avoid such a thing.

Poorboy's Natural Look dressing has a very nice scent as well.

I absolutely LOVE smelling detailing products. Yes, the smell is important, but it won't sway me away from using the product(unless it's sonax wheel cleaner)if it doesn't smell that great. I think I'm the only one that likes the smell of WDGPS....lol. I smell my detailing products all the time when I'm not using them.

Smell yes, taste NO!

Pretty much all of them give me a headache if they have even a marginally strong scent. The only exception would be coconut, vanilla, or grape scented products.

My wife always digs through my new detailing supplies so she can smell them when they come in though. lolotfl!

Update: Just got home and as promised I smelled both products side by side. You are correct they both smell like banana colada (kinda reminds me of a banana pop cicle). I love the smell Im the MAN

But if you don't like banana colada your probably not going to like the smell of DP TIC.

The scents to me are the frosting on the cake. Won't sway me (that I know of) but I sure do love a good one. Jim and I were talking about the scent on Ultima Waterless Wash. There are scents that are better but this one has something addicitve in it. The first time you smell it you'll think, "Oh, thats nice". The second or third time you'll think "OH, THATS NICE!" By the 4th or 5th time you'll know what I'm talking about.

And the strange thing about the new Ultima is none of us can put a finger on what it is. Very addicting! IMO, Ultima and Optimum do the best on the nose. I really like Ultima Car Wash and their Interior Shampoo too. OID, OCW, ONR, OID are fantastic too.
Mark, have you smelled Sonax WC? After everything I read I was expecting this heavy putrid smell that you could smell from 10 feet away and wouldn't leave. I really didn't think it was that bad at all. It's not good... but it's just like a air perm smell and it goes away as soon as you rinse. Maybe it's just me...
Iron Cut is like someone cut one and fills a two car garage! Probably worse than Sonax. By far the worst smell I have ever chosen to put up with, but works fantastic!

As long as it don,t give me a headache I'm fine.. I can't stand coconut smell. Even if the product is great. I simply can't use it because I get headache.

I think Duragloss should think about the smell of their products: 902 OK but slightly too agressive cherry smell. Metal polish is very chemical. Glass polish is alright. I couldn't stand the coconut smell of their QD.
