    Ozone Generator/Machine

FYI check out the health hazards in using ozone generators. Not something you want to be breathing on a regular basis. I use one in rental properties occasionally but open up the home for fresh air after use. They do work however...

    Cleaner wax then seal?

FWIW, I have been extremely happy with my GG6 and the Megs Ultimate products on my daily drivers. Its been an easy way to get started with great results.

What do you use 303 Aerospace Protectant for?

I use it on my side steps on my Suburban and also on the plastic fender flares and plastic bumpers on my wife's Jeep. I really like it.

    Couple of dressing questions

I use 303 Aerospace on my Jeep Wrangler factory flares. I spray in on the flare then use a small scrub brush in a circular motion to get it down into the fine texture. They are challenging to keep looking good but this works for me.

anyone. roof micro pitting after long term care?

I've got the same problem with my 06 black suburban. Polished and waxed regularly, garage kept since I bought it in 09. Very frustrating.

    Clear Coat Issue?

OK, new to this so here are a few pics. The "orange peel" you see on the hood is actually a reflection of the ceiling in my garage.

Porter Cable 7424 XP or Flex VC 3401?

I recently had the same issue. Didn't know which way to go. I ended up going with the GG6 with the 25' cord and am very satisfied. I am not a professional but I do appreciate a quality tool and this one fits the bill for me.

    Clear Coat Issue?

Ok, so a quick history of me and my vehicle. I'm not a professional, just a very fussy enthusiast. I have always taken excellent care of my 06 Black Suburban. Wash and polish very often. I grew up using an orbital buffer with my Dad and until recently have used it many times on this vehicle...

Griots FAST MF Pads and Complete Compound

I too have been wondering about that product. I also have a GG6. How would you say the Complete Compound compares to Megs Ultimate Compound? Nice job on that Honda!

    Wash Mitt Selection

Yes, cold here too, however I am able to wash indoors at my place of work. I have yet to try a rinseless wash but I have been following posts about it and will eventually give it a try on my wife's vehicle. Thanks for the ideas on sponges and mitts.

    Wash Mitt Selection

What type of wash mitt or sponge do you folks like? Living here in the mid-west, I wash all this salt and junk off often. I have tried micro fiber mitts and they seem to really "grab" and not glide easily. I have always used synthetic lambswool mitts but they don't seem to be as good as they...

Non Shedding, Lint Fee detail towels? DISAPPOINTED!

Along the same lines, what do you guys like to use for wash mitts and/or sponges? There is just so much to choose from these days. I wash at least once a week. The microfiber mitts really seem to "grab" onto the surface. I would prefer something that glides a bit while washing.

    Polisher Decision

Thanks everyone for all of your opinions and help. I ended up buying a GG 6 and have just started using it. I'm working on the roof of my Suburban and am doing pretty well with it. It seems like a well built tool. I ordered the model with the 25' cord which is really nice. So far so good!

    Interest in Chicagoland meet

This sounds great. I've just gotten started with a GG 6 and would love some tips and advise. I would bring an older S10 black Blazer that my two daughters have learned to drive on that I want to do some paint correction on. Can't beat Portillo's too!

Looking for some advice on swirls, polishes and cars

To the OP, I'm in a similar situation as you. I have always taken excellent care of my vehicles, hand polishing and waxing, using a buffer with bonnets with fairly good results. I have recently decided to "upgrade" my system and equipment and bought a GG 6 kit. I have a 9 year old black...

    I Need Ideas on Drying

I also have a JKU. I'm able to stand on the rear tire and reach most of the roof if I don't have a step stool with me. I use a Fireman's Friend chamois for the roof. I know I'm dating myself here but it works great on the jeep hardtop and allows me to use less towels.

    Road Salt

Lots of water for flushing first, then wash as usual. I've lived in the rust belt my whole life and it works for me.

Any advice for selling a car privately?

I have also had really good results with Autotrader. People are always impressed with how clean my cars are. Lots of good pics really makes it stand out.

    Polisher Decision

Thanks everyone for the opinions. I really haven't looked at the GC until now, looks like it might fit the bill for me at this time. I like the idea of the 6.5 inch pads since I have a suburban.
