Nominations for "Best 50/50 Shot" of 2014

The last truck pic is the most dramatic to me for you with the paint before\after and that seat, whew! <-- Do tell your cleaning process of that seat! (Just curious of your cleaning methods and what protection afterwards?) Hey, I just realized you are in La., in what city do you reside?

I'm a local detailer in Baton Rouge, have researched who the other local detailers are here and I remembered you mentioning opening a shop in another thread, were mobile, and just put two and two together. :coolgleam:

Advice on old single stage vette

This thread is very similar to what I will hopefully be working on in a few weeks as well. My wife's friend's dad owns a 66 vette. She came over Sunday to pick my wife up to drive around and have fun. I couldn't help but to check it out and offer my services. It has single stage red paint, no...

    95 Mustang detail nightmare

It is (faded) red. I didn't get a chance to speak to him last week but for sure will this week. I'll acquire more information about it this Thurs. Don't want to push him too much but would really like to see the Cobra looking as it should.

    95 Mustang detail nightmare

I was thinking the same thing at first but I believe its wax per his statement above the picture... "As I was wiping off the wax I had to snap some pics of the hood. A huge difference of gloss and reflection after the 18 years of neglect"

    95 Mustang detail nightmare

Excellent turnaround! :dblthumb2: I go bowling on Thursday nights and every time I arrive, there sits this really cool 2004? Mustang Cobra that is just in unbelievable terrible shape (paint wise). Amazingly, glancing at it, I don't think I see any clear coat failure, BUT, it looks worse (minus...

    Meguiar's 105/205 or their Mf cc/finishing polish?

One of my favorite 50/50 shots I've seen. The results speak volumes for what can be achieved with just FG400 and MF cutting disc. I'd like to add that while I've achieved similar results with this combo, I have also found using a MF Finishing disc and Menz SF4000 can correct defects, swirls...

Vandalized 2006 black Corsa (Popular Car) - Removing Super Glue

Dude, great job! :props: quick question,,?,, when she first came by for you to evaluate her car, you said you fixed a spot on her hood, correct? For this, did you also spot sand and compound that small section as well or just compound it? How long did it take to spot sand all those areas even...

    single stage paint.. input please

Bump for any pics and have questions!?! How much M7 (full bottle, 2?) and how many towels did you use? Curious as to how much was "needed" for a vehicle of this size. How long did you let the M7 sit on the car and what did you use to wipe off, another white cotton towel or MF? I see you used...

Chance to win some AutoGeek Gear!

Congrats guys! I kinda missed entering this but would still like to give my opinion! For me, Chemical Guy's Pete's 53. It smells great, is an easy application, and looks great, especially on Metallics.....

    Dirty Durango

First of all, great work cleaning that up! Second, did you have help or working by yourself? 4 hours seems fairly quick for all of what "I think" you cleaned up. Or, am I just too slow and need to really speed up my processes?

Mustang vs Pinnacle Black Label Surface Coating

Car looks very "glassy"! :D May I ask why you chose not to use the Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish ? Just curious as I should hopefully finish my wife's car this weekend barring any other issues, and am planning on using the cleansing polish. Did you wash the car after polishing...
