Does this make me an Autogeek?

:iagree: With the way those wheels are your are doing the best thing for the car. Wheels with those wide spacings are tough to clean and keep cleaned, so all is good. What do you use on the rotors to keep them clean. My brother has a 2001 Mustang GT and you can see rust on the rotors. How do you...

    Ghost in car ad---must watch!

Wow that made my hair stand up on end. That was cool. Like everyone else I was trying to see the ghost by the car and looking very closely. I was up close to the monitor looking for the ghost and then bam. Cool! I have to pass this one on to someone I know. HEHEHE in a evil laugh.

    Winterizing Your Car's Exterior

That looks more like winterizing your cars interior to the extreme. :D Well since the weather is in a downhill run now in Iowa, I waxed the car last Sat. in 60 degree weather. But is going to be in th 50's now. Can you still wax a car in 50 degree weather?

    Having correction problems?

I meant for it to be cleaned first before it was put in a zip lock bag, but if the cleaner gets all of the polish out of the pad there is no need to store it in a zip lock bag. Then you should be able to use any other product on that pad besides the one you started using with that pad. As the...

    Having correction problems?

I read somewhere that it is a good idea to put the buffing pad in a ziplock bag and write on the outside of the bag which polishing product etc. was used on that pad. If you use a pad cleaner does it get all of the polish etc. out of the pad?

Looks worse after polishng w 360

It looks to me that you need to use a different pad, a orange pad has some cutting power, a yellow even more. I think it is the pad myself. The polish is only good as the pad that is removing the problems. I would use a orange pad first and if that does'nt work try a yellow pad. Take your time...

    Steve the newbie

Ok I'm some what of a newbie to car detailing. I do the washing and waxing. I have done some polishing. I have a 96 Grand Prix. A small random orbital. Does a nice job of applying wax but that is about all it does well. What I want to do is fix some paint defects such as spider webs and some...

    Winterizing Your Car's Exterior

I live in Iowa myself. I leave a snow brush in the house that way I can clean off the car when I get outside. The car is'nt garaged at all. Don't have a garage. It's a 96 Grand Prix, paint is'nt great it needs work but is'nt bad either. Something I have learned from reading other forums is to...
