I have the car above just dropped off to be detailed. The paint is perfect, except for some small swirl type scratchs that you can only see in the sun.
What should I use to get these small swirl marks out of the paint??? Same stuff I would use on a clear coat paint job. I will take pictures later of what it looks like and post them...
Thanks!

So have you confirmed that it's a SS paint? From what I've read (planning to try tackling a SS 1930 Ford of my dad's someday) it's really no different than a CC paint, but it will probably be softer so a light polish may be all you need. Also have multiple pads on hand since they will get caked with paint.

I did the car last night...used the Poorboys 2.5 and Zaino Z5. I think I may buff the car one more time, just to get a few more of the small little scuffs out of the paint. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Sweet car...I have a soft spot for Amercian Muscle Cars.

The motor is sooo smooth in this thing...

I drove the car up and down the street and it would be so much nicer with some modern rubber!

As I mentioned...I was not real happy with the way the Poorboys worked...a friend of mine suggested I go back over the car with Zaino Z-PC with the PC and then use the Z5 again, followed by Z2 Pro. So..in a day to two, I will go over the car again and report my results!
The shine is there from the Zaino, just need to get more of the small marks out of the paint!

So was it a single stage paint? I know I had a tough time getting swirls out of mine until I got Menzerna, but it's a 7 year old repaint.
