I've only used "safe" methods for corrections and have no experience with sanding. Do you think it would have yielded better results?

I used Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner, Adam's Total Interior Detailer and Adam's Leather Conditioner on all the remaining plastic and vinyl surfaces.

Also on the panels that had streaking, I used a fine polish to remove the coating and reapplied to those panels. I believe Essence Plus would have worked too but I didn't have any on me at the time.
