Do black cars really need products specific for black paint?

Every LSP you apply or layer on top of another LSP will change the way the light travels through the layers of LSP and clear coat and then back through. They will have different angles of refraction and different angles of total reflection as the light passes from one medium to another. This...

Onr not taking dirt off or is it road film that it just can’t get off?

That Purple Power Vehicle and Boat wash takes forever to rinse off. You think it is rinsed off until you realize that you can still see the rainbow effect at the edges of the sheeting water from the soap still being there.

Onr not taking dirt off or is it road film that it just can’t get off?

ONR has stained the grout sponges that I used to use.

McKee's 37 Hydro Blue on Exterior Trim

It would most likely form a layer of protection over the #40, but who knows how long it would last. I do notice that when I use this type of spray on blast off sealant on my wheels that the tire does not absorb tire dressing as well in the section at the bottom of the tire that was making...

Can you apply a ceramic coating to old school single stage lacquer paint?

How about if instead of a strong panel wipe you use something like Duragloss Squeaky Clean or the McKees37 Paint Coating Prep polish? Mike, do you think they would dull the paint? There is not doubt that they clean the paint very well.

    NEW McKess 37 pollen X

I have had pretty good luck using Spray Nine APC. It is a fungicide, bactericide and disinfectant and a pretty damn good APC too.

    Non-Toxic Cleaners

The Ultima Interior Shampoo also seems very mild, but works great.

    Non-Toxic Cleaners

The 303 Multi-Surface concentrate has worked well for me for interiors when needed. You can even clean your fruits and veggies with it. Its a colloidal cleaner which I don't really understand. I got it for people that warn me they are sensitive to chemical cleaners.

Dumb question on using iron remover for first time

I apply after 2 degreasing washes. I like to keep rewetting the panels the iron remover by wiping the panels with a MF and I wouldn't do that on a dirty car. I apply it to the first panels that were washed first which have pretty much air dried by then. I don't want any road film to keep the...

Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

Definitely the PA polishes. But they only get used on my own cars because they are too much $.

The only handle that I use is the loop handle on my Makita rotary. I have a drawer full of side handles.

Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

Carpro Reflect is pretty easy to wipe off too. I think that Megs Ultimate Compound is pretty easy to remove also.

Applying ceramic coating to areas near rubber seals?

They are foam that is wrapped in plastic then wrapped in MF suede. So the coating does not soak into the foam just the MF. I started using these earlier this year

What is a good product to fill swirls?

Sometimes you can't polish with abrasives because the clear has gotten too thin or is starting to fail. Obviously a proper polishing will come out better. Prima Amigo for an acrylic based glaze that you can apply just about any sealant of wax over that fills nicely. The Auto Finesse Ultra...

Dumb question on using iron remover for first time

The plastic trim has iron fallout from brake dust embedded in it too. I have not seen it cause any trouble with plastic trim.

Issues with Buff and Shine Pads

Too much moisture within the pad makes it heat up very quickly, then the foam deforms in the center of the pad usually. You may have also been pushing down on the polisher too much creating more heat

    Deep glass cleaning

For interior windows the M37 20/20 Cockpit glass window polish is the best I have ever used if you have really dirty interior windows. It says for interior windows only but I never understood why it can't be used on the exterior of glass. I tried it before and it worked very well. It is non...

    Deep glass cleaning

It is a great first step. It is pretty easy to use and wipe off. I use an old 4" yellow/cutting or orange/light cutting pad on windows. If that does not remove them then I will use something more aggressive like the Carpro cerium oxide glass polish with their rayon felt pads. I only try to...
