I can't do this at my house because the water will leave spots; it's really hard. The only type of wash I do is ONR, which, unfortunately, requires drying with a towel. Maybe someday I'll get a CR spotless, but that's a ways off--$$$$.

I think I need to try using vinegar when rinsing the towels and see if that helps with my issues. Our water here is pretty hard.

Well, it is blue! But I've never been inside a Pepboys. Obviously two stores could sell the same towel. It doesn't seem like two towels sewn together though, no. :(

How does Ultima Tire and Trim Guard Plus do on stuff like this? I remember a Garry Dean video with him using it on a badly faded Avalanche. Seemed to work well from what I remember?

Wow, I can't believe that many of you presoak. I think it's usually totally unnecessary. Though, I think it might have something to do with the wash media used. If you're just using towels, then I think it's easier to drag dirt across the paint. I use a chenille wash bone that costs 3 bucks...

I used one, what I want to say was a decade ago. Don't know if they were around that long ago or not, but nonetheless I seem to recall it working quite well. They were expensive though. Can't remember too many details since I only used it once or twice a long time ago.
