I have a 2013 Elantra 5spd as well. Where does hyundai paint rank. Is it a softer or harder paint. So far i have used 845 and it really looks spectacular. What other LSP's have you all tried.

The machine I'll be using is a PC 7424 the original not the xp. I have some foam cutting and polishing pads.

I was thinking of using collinite 845. Or maybe some Natty's blue. Not totally sure

I was just guessing with wet sanding. There are some pretty nasty scratches. The perfect finish sounds like somewhere to start. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow.

My paint condition is pretty good. I have light swirls in the finish. On the other hand the finish on my wife's pilot is pretty severe. Other than wet sanding I will not be able to get those defects out.

I am looking to find the best all around polish/ swirl remover. I want it to be something that can be used as a one step product. I know there are products these days that have diminishing abrasives. So that they don't require another polish to be applied to remove anything they might have put...

I recently have gotten back into detailing. A few years ago i bought a lot of detailing products. I cam across an old jar of zaino clay There is 2 bars of yellow clay still in plastic. I see that the new clay is red. Is the older yellow clay better or is there really no difference between the two.

The backing plate on my PC measures 4 5/8 inches. Can i use a 5.5 inch foam pad with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
