Best all around polish swirl remover

I am looking to find the best all around polish/ swirl remover. I want it to be something that can be used as a one step product. I know there are products these days that have diminishing abrasives. So that they don't require another polish to be applied to remove anything they might have put into the finish.
 
It all depends on the condition of your paint.
Do you have severe paint conditions or none or somewhere in between? You'd use different products for each instance.
Give more info so members can help you.

Sonax Perfect Finish.
 
My paint condition is pretty good. I have light swirls in the finish. On the other hand the finish on my wife's pilot is pretty severe. Other than wet sanding I will not be able to get those defects out.
 
For light swirls you could perhaps get by with a paint cleanser, anything more severe Sonax PF as mentioned above would be an example of an all rounder to a cut of 4 outa 6. Stuff harsher than that you'd need a compound first.

Also be careful with wet sanding, you ought to know what you're doing.
You sure you need wetsanding and not compounding?

Post a couple of pictures if you aint sure.
 
Also forgot to ask what LSP you are planing to put on at the end?
A wax, a sealant, or a coating? Each requires a different product beforehand. So a cleanser for wax could be different than one for a sealant or for a coating.

And you are doing this by machine?

Perfect finish is for machine use to the best of my knowledge.
 
I was just guessing with wet sanding. There are some pretty nasty scratches. The perfect finish sounds like somewhere to start. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow.

"Diminishing" abrasives (DAT) have been around
for a long while.
"SMAT" abrasives are the fairly new kids on the block.
(DAT and SMAT are Meguiar's designations)

-Diminishing Abrasives (DAT) are a category of abrasives that actually break down.
-Super Micro Abrasives (SMAT) are microscopic in size and do not break down (like DAT)

Meguiars's #9 and #205...
are most excellent all-around swirl-removers!

I was thinking of using collinite 845. Or maybe some Natty's blue. Not totally sure

And to the part I missed above, Scholl Concepts has an AIO called A15+ (Not sure if it's available through AG) it's a medium polish with a sealant inside so it polishes and seals in one step, if that's what you were asking for.

Perhaps another member can chime in with a similar product from a different line available through AG.
 
The machine I'll be using is a PC 7424 the original not the xp. I have some foam cutting and polishing pads.
 
Meguiar's M66 Quick Detailer. It's actually a potent cleaner wax, that contains diminishing abrasives to eliminate swirls. I have not used their D151, but suspect it's similar, perhaps stronger. D151 uses smat abrasives. I have, and do use M66.
 
Will not be able to get a picture today. Raining now and will be till thursday. Will get one then.
