I think you've already seen the MX-5 in my other post. The other one is a Z4. Here is a picture after the snow started melting today. It's dirty with road salt, snow residue, etc all over the paint. I'll probably wash it this weekend and post new pics.

Lol, I get people doing that too and also trying to race me! But my car gulps down fuel so I don't actually do it. One or two coats of Wolfgang Seal and no doubt your car will look good. After three coats it will be amazing. Anything after that and the look will be surreal. I remember a while...

When I use just about anything on my black car there is always something on the paint the next day, heh. I've learned that this is the price to be paid for a high-maintenance color. OID is good stuff and it sounds like you only have that problem when you're wiping it down with residual water...

Yes...the snow should clear in a few days then i should be able to do something. I haven't noticed dusting but on dark colored vehicles (which shouldn't be an issue for you) there can be streaking if you use too much. I think it's due to the amount of gloss enhancers which probably explains why...

I tried it as an experiment and was glad I did. On a bright, sunny day the paint (especially black) will exhibit an extremely high degree of reflectivity and gloss. You will get noticed. I remember the day after I applied the final coat people--young, old, male, female, black, white, you name...

You're right! I have a gallon of both because they're priced so well. Optimum Instant Detailer and Opti-Clean is also cheap especially if you get the concentrate and mix your own.

Perhaps one day I'll track them. For now I just love cruising around in both roadsters--a full view of the sky when the top is down...the sound of the exhaust note...and nimble handling that only a small sports car can give you. Scion FR-S looks good and is a nice ride but the underpowered...

You guys are too funny. :laughing: The pics were taken a while back when I first experimented with multiple Wolfgang applications. It was the only time I did that many layers. I wanted to get the car looking nice before submitting pics to the Miata site for display. Haven't really paid...

Hmm...I think the first couple layers would provide the longest lasting durability. Anything after that probably won't bond much to the actual paint and is more of a cosmetic thing. I'll keep an eye on it for sure!
