    Sign for UPS AG packages?

usually UPS doesn't do it. I know that back when I used to get packages from FedEx, signature confirmation was usually included with their regular shipping price. However, that may have changed by now. Also, I think sig confim is a separate option on UPS Ground, unless the insured value is over...

    Water filtration - I'm a believer

Yup, you'll find that just about anything foams much better when water is softened :) Glad to hear that, I will be picking this up... water spots are such a problem for me, even with a leafblower. With the Florida sun (or even without it), it seems that water spots already start forming a few...

Saturn Aura named Most Washable Car of 2007

Ironic, however... Lutz brings over the very nice models GM subsidiaries have overseas, but the more they sell, the more they lose (money)! Sucks, although we get some great cars from it, namely the newer Saturns, and also we can't forget the GTO or upcoming G8! :D I would have never...

    Clay Residue

hmm... I'll have to give that a try then. I only tried ONR, should've tried IPA! Good tip.

    Credit Card Scam

definitely! I do this on all my cards... and I do not cooperate if people give me trouble about it (like what sometimes happens at the post office... I bring cash to places like that which can give you trouble). It's my security, thank you very much.

    Clay Residue

Yea, for the first time I had this happen to me. The difference was that I used ONR @ QD as a lube. If my clay hit a spot that was ever so slightly unlubed, then BAM, residue. Basically, what happens (so that everyone else knows what I'm talking about, which hoepfully is also what the OP is...

    Check this out.

exactly, which is why your "there are plenty of waxes with just nuba" statement confused me.

    Check this out.

true, but what waxes offer 100% carnauba? And wouldn't that be extremely difficult to get onto the paint?

    Eagle One product line

I second this. Good product, but strong. Not something you want to be in extended contact/breathing for too long. Also, a bit expensive, but nice for the person who only occasionally deep cleans wheels and tires (like me :)).

    Check this out.

LOL look at one of the comments: And, being 70% carnauba, I bet its not very durable at all! The reason why products like Max Wax work so well is due to the additional polymers, I believe. Of course, if you have $7,000 to spend on wax, I guess you could care less about durability

    Wheel Well cleaning

In your opinion, Justin, would you say thw wheel Shmitt is "too thick" for use on vehicles with tight wells?

    Wheel Well cleaning

I agree. Currently my car is at stock height, so there's a generous amount of wheel gap (which hopefully will change soon enough...), so an old body brush similar to the one posted earlier works just fine for me, although it is is still a bit inconvenient in the upper reaches of the wheel (where...

    ONR on plastic and rubber?

Absolutely! No ill effects whatsoever :) ONR is very safe... in fact, if I'm not mistaken, I believe that it's not even toxic to humans. I'm not sure I'd drink it though :P But no, it shouldn't have any bad effects on plastic or rubber surfaces. I sometimes use ONR mixed at QD strength to just...

    Homes in FL

Well, not everyone can deal with it. Everyone's feeling the strain as property taxes go up. Plenty of people are actually leaving this state because they simply can't afford to pay property taxes and home insurance anymore. It's pretty sad, really. However, the market will eventually...

    Engine Detailing

It depends on the vehicle. For the most part, just don't go blasting water in the engine bay, and you should be fine. I only cover up the alternator in my tC, and only use a pretty gentle free flow of water to rinse. No problems yet! I suppose I should also mention that immediately after I...

Wheel ShMitt - how to clean?

hmm... hotwater... that may be the secret! I find similar results with my tire swipe... always has greasy tire dressing on it, no matter how many times I clean it! I'll give a try with hot water next time.

    Washing Foam Applicators?

I just throw it in the washing machine with my MF towels :) I do usually presoak them in dishwashing detergent, although I'm pretty sure that's a wasted step, as it doesn't really do anything.

    Installing speed govenor on car?

I personally think its rather unsafe to install a sever speed limit on cars. Sometimes you do actually need to exceed the speed limit. I'd look into one of those blackbox systems instead. Keep people accountable, but let them committ mistakes. As long as they don't kill anyone, the lesson is...
