So how do you fix it? My new car has TERRIBLE orange peel. It's the number one thing that bothers me about my car. I was under the impression that wet sanding was the only fix.

Definitely be careful with your matte graphics. I wouldn't want to rub on them with anything other than microfiber. Once they get scratched there is no option to polish or correct a sticker. We are all car people.... you owe us pictures of your ride!

My daily work drive is 120+ miles round trip so I find the foam cannon is perfect for a 3-5 day build up of dust dirt bugs ect. Thats with a sealant and consistent spray wax/sacrificial layer upkeep to keep things from sticking. I DON"T pre-rinse normally either. Just foam, rinse, dry/detail...

My dads car has a couple bad spots like that too. Part of why I don't feel bad washing my new car often. Is this an instance where you could/should fill it with a wax to 'minimize' it?

Glad you are having success Next time you wash.... go for a quick dry off drive. Doesn't take much and your goal is reduction more than complete removal. I generally just have to spot dry front/rear bumpers and windows/mirrors as well as a quick wipe of any tire splash. I use a quick detail...

I got the PBL surface coating to try as my first. Thankfully it was on sale I have only used sealant once and didn't know it's best to clay\polish before OR to keep it from getting wet and getting etched spots before it cures (morning dew). Lesson learned. Now I decided to clean out my dads...
