    best pads for cyclo

I like the blue pads and white pads for finishing and polishing. I used to use white pads and 3m finesse it on white/silver cars back in the 90's. Such nice results!!!

    Finally! New to me cyclo

I've loved my cyclo since the late 80's. They are work horses! They have the ability to correct like a rotary or a FLEX. Might take a little longer...they're great machines.

Scotch blue painters tape left crap everywhere!

We have a beach house not too far away that was badly damaged by Irene. It's finally moved and rebuilt. I didn't even realize it, but the tape I used to mask off a lot of parts of the walls and ceiling was 233. I went there today and grabbed the rolls and brought them home. I am with the above...

Scotch blue painters tape left crap everywhere!

I just found this pic on my phone...it shows a clearer pic of what I was up against. I hate that tape line, so apparent. Obviously, I went over the line with Menzerna, and that was taken care of.

Scotch blue painters tape left crap everywhere!

Vegas, I used a little blue tape on the bottom vinyl piece beneath my doors on my civic. There is still a line there. LOL, do I have bad luck? Maybe rubbing off the compound would be easier than taping?

Scotch blue painters tape left crap everywhere!

My Parents picked up a 2014 Subaru Forester in Dark Charcoal Metallic. I won't get in to how bad the paint was(It was owned by a guy who either washed it with sandpaper or was addicted to dry washing LOL). Anyway, I was out of the usual painters tape that I normally use(3m I think, always leaves...

It is that time of year again! '94 Civic Hatch Winter prep

I haven't surfed this forum or any detailing forums for a while. We usually get a somewhat bad winter here in CT so I took today to prep my little beater, a 1994 red honda civic cx hatch. It received a full tilt detail when I first bought it in 2011. It's a one owner car and looked like it was...

    1992 Mustang Spring Preparation

Beautiful Stallion! Reminds me of my 1990 GT. I swore by #26 and #7. Always worked like a charm! Meguiar's makes very good products. The trim and the rubber around the back windows is a common problem. I used #26 on the back window moldings and the side trim. Very light costs. That pony is...

Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 - Winter Test

Great idea! Nice truck. Beautiful finish. It does pop nicely. I caught the cowl area, beading as well as the finish. Love it. I have some of this sealant...I must have done something wrong, it didn't work too well. Should be an interesting thread!

    winter prep with collinite 476

Well, It wasn't caked on...it was a little bit on the high visibility side. There's a video of Mike on YT applying Pinnacle(to me looks a bit heavy). I kind of followed that. Now, I can barely tell it's going on. I suppose that's the right application amount?

What applicator do you use for Wax?
